Self-Regulation and its Impact on Behaviour
A one day course for teachers, headteachers, teaching assistants and KS1 practitioners in nurseries, schools and other under-fives settings.

We will focus on:
- Exploring what self-regulation constitutes and its relationship to EYFS and KS1.
- Why self-regulation matters and its impact on raising standards.
- How practitioners can support self-regulation:
Positive relationships,
The adult role.
Devising skills to support the child to self-regulate.
- ‘Teaching’ self-regulation.
- The positive impact of self-regulation in supporting behaviour management
The Characteristics of Effective Learning are interwoven throughout all aspects of this course.
