Teaching and play in the early years. What does this mean
for you and your children?
A one day course for managers, head teachers, and EYFS teachers, and practitioners in nurseries, schools and other under-fives settings.
‘Leaders did not think of teaching and play as separate endeavours. In every playful encounter we observed, adults, consciously or otherwise were teaching. They were making important decisions about the resources they used and the questions they asked. They thought carefully about their physical behaviours, the language they used and the environments they created. These everyday decisions were recognised as teaching.’
