The Wonder of Being 2
A one day course (the first of a series of 3) for Early Years Practitioners and Managers working with 2 year olds.
"The 12 months of developmental difference between being a ‘just two’ and ‘nearly three’ is huge. Young two’s are not simply smaller, wetter, less articulates threes. They are at a qualitatively different point in their development "Jenny Lindon 2008
Recent government policy is supporting the expansion of places for two year olds. There is, therefore, a greater interest in the developmental needs of two year olds and how we can create the best provision for them; this includes expansion of some provision on school sites.
We will focus on:
Facilitators: Helen Banks, Gill Coathup, and Felicity Thomas
Date: Friday 29/11/13 Time: 9.30-3.30
